Repeat Prescriptionspharmacist_4

Patients on long term medication can request repeat prescriptions from the surgery or a preferred chemist. Please hand deliver or post your repeat slip with the items clearly marked and allow a full 48 working hours* before collection. If you are using the postal service and want us to post the prescription back to you please remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

If you are ordering via a chemist it is their responsibility to request and collect the prescription from the practice.

Alternatively you can now order online by following the link at the top of this page and completing a simple registration.

We regret that owing to the possibility of mistakes, we are unable to accept requests for repeat prescriptions by telephone, instead we require you to either post or deliver by hand a list of the required items to the surgery or to your preferred chemist. The chemist will be responsible for requesting and collecting your repeat prescription from the practice. The chemist will require your consent before the request can be processed for repeat prescriptions to be provided by the practice.

Collection Schedule

If your request for a repeat prescription is received by the Surgery on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday,  prescriptions will generally be available for collection 48 hours later between 9.30am – 6pm (On Mondays we are open until 9.00pm) not including Wednesday 9.30 – 1pm. (not including weekends) Any repeat prescription handed in after 12:00 will automatically go forward to next day or any handed in after 12:00 Friday will be ready to collect on Wednesday. Repeat prescriptions can be sent and returned by post if accompanied by an SAE.
